I am Stephanie van Elven, 31 years old. I love to plan and organize and I am passionate about foreign languages and writing.
Besides that, I am accurate, friendly and professional. I work well independently, have a proactive attitude and I speak multiple languages (Dutch & English: fluent; Spanish: good, French: basics).
These traits, combined with my experience, make me an ideal Virtual Assistant for your international business. A Virtual Assistant that will take care of your administration, that will work on your online visibility and, if applicable, helps with your HR issues or administration. This way, your business will run smoother and will be better organised, allowing room for growth.
I have studied International Business and Languages as well as Communication Science and I have completed a one-year Human Resource Management course. Besides that, I have gained experience working with a variety of companies. I worked at the Chinese multinational Hanergy Holding Europe as an HR & Administrative Supervisor. This office, located in the Amsterdam business district, was the small, yet rapidly growing, European headquarters. The company is active in the field of renewable energy. In this international position I set up the HR and Office departments from scratch and was responsible for HR, Office Management and assisting the CEO.
Thanks to my partner, who has been a small business owner for years, I have also gained experience with administrative work for smaller companies. For a more comprehensive overview of my capabilities and experience, please visit my Linkedin page.
Besides fulfilling various supporting roles at different companies with great joy, I also love travelling and, as mentioned before, foreign languages. This love grew when I studied 6 months in Quito, Ecuador in 2006. Ever since then, I have lived in various countries for longer periods of time (Australia, Belgium and France).
Being a Virtual Assistant allows me to combine my professional career and my passion for foreign languages and cultures, with regular visits abroad, since I’m not confined by one specific location.
Another passion of mine is writing, which is why I started a (Dutch) blog in 2017. On this blog, I share travel stories, reviews and my experiences on being a mom. Apart from developing my writing skills, this blog also taught (and is still teaching) me about using WordPress, SEO and social media.
